Kon heard something causing a ruckus in the barn out back and went to investigate, only to find a giant human sized bat rummaging around in the fresh bales of hay.
Turns out that human sized bat is actually his friend, Tim, who was way more affectionate than normal and seemingly scared, so Kon does his best to help him relax. He talks to him and Tim seems to understand, but his mind is obviously muddled, a constant fight between human intelligence and animal instinct.
It’s was amusing, especially when Tim began grooming himself with his tongue. He immediately stopped, made a disgusted face, and tried to busy himself with something else, only for a moment later to be grooming himself again, this time with more anger as he was clearly upset that the ’clean fur with tongue urge’ won out.
So Kon settles down for the night with his friend inside a nest of hay. Because honestly? They’d both rather deal with this mess in the morning.
