Thema and I were tossing the ball around, sort of about why Junior would look like Jacky’s alt form, and came up with the idea that he is a kind of magical ambush predator that takes on a form his prey will find familiar and comforting. She’s his master now, which would explain why he takes that form for other people too.
Wraiths feed on the Lifeforce of the living. When tied to a master they passively feed off of that person’s energy. Most wraiths are angry and vengeful spirits who will happily take advantage of that over time if not watched carefully.
Pretty sure Junior isn’t waiting to ambush Jacky, they are buddies, but its fun daydream fuel. When the ambush predator either grows fond of their prey or decides a couple of days in that ain’t gonna happen and never discloses it was a possibility lol
