Thinking about “How many do you think you could kill before they managed to destroy you?” again
How many death knights could I puppet you to kill before three of the horsemen of the apocalypse could not just kill you—as we all know that doesnt work with you—but completely and utterly destroy your being? How many of your subordinates would you kill with your own sword because I’m making you a weapon of petty vengeance, how many will you have to watch yourself slaughter until your closest friends are finally able to render you into nothingness and send your miserable soul to the afterlife?
“as we all know that doesn’t work with you”
and darion knows it too, is fully and intimately aware that every other time he’s died but not been fully and completely destroyed past the point of no return he’s just gotten up and kept going, is weighing out in his mind at that very moment how much destructive force the other three horsemen–the lesser horsemen than himself, the fourth and strongest–can bring to bear against how much punishment he’s able to endure and keep going (endless, lethal amounts, such that even the Light itself could burn him out and yet he could still be called back to rise again)
how many will you have to watch yourself slaughter until your closest friends are finally able to render you into nothingness and send your miserable soul to the afterlife?
will they even be enough to stop you?
