A cop, while they may not be ALWAYS lying, are legally expected to not tell the truth. They cannot enter a binding contract, and are in fact protected by any court if they break any contract they say they are in. They, legally, cannot give their word. They are not a trusted source for anything.
Does that mean they can’t invite a vampire in?
