Fixed for everyone in the notes sorry feeling like Jared rn

It’s well known (at least in the scientific community) that aspartame is carcinogenic. It’s basically the cigarette equivalent of the 21st century

Also just a note my aunt had a friend that got cancer (brain I think) back in the day like probably over a decade almost 2 decades and the doctor said it was because of aspartame

Okay, I say this as someone in the scientific community, it is not “well known” amongst us or doctors that this is carcinogenic and we’re just keeping it from you. If anyone’s doctor told them this, it was their own personal opinion and not based on a preponderance of scientific evidence. The category of ‘possibly carcinogenic’ is the lowest level and includes so many things people encounter daily, it’s not worth losing sleep over.

It’s probably better to drink soda in moderation anyway. I’ll see what this report says when it comes out. Epidemiology studies are notoriously problematic though since correlation and causation are not the same.
