Also the fact that he could build an Emerald (Be₃Al₂(SiO₃)₆ + Cr or V) city out of sand (SiO₂), but can’t lie to you, means he had some sort of nuclear transmutation facility or possibly is some sort of fae.

Circling back to this a month later, but I think Tevruden gets dragon’ed because he’s a knight. Its a central part for the knight/dragon duality but him being cursed to turn into a dragon feels… overdone so i gotta chew on *why* more.
