the isthecatcute blog is a very good and genuinely helpful blog and im not dissing it AT ALL but some people really cannot think for themselves. there will be a cat that is perfectly fine sitting on a floor/being normal and there will be like. 8 people mentioning that blog in the notes like “OMG IS THE CAT SITTING WEIRD????? 😭” and then isthecatcute will reblog the post like “hi. yes the cat is fine and is just sitting on the floor”
okay i just saw a video of a cat who accidentally put its paw in its water bowl and then it started meowing at its water bowl and there were THREE different people tagging that blog. im just straight up gonna be mean now. yall are stupid as hell
Heyo!! I’ve actually got a bit of an answer to this. The moderators of isthecatvideocute have specifically requested people to send in videos that are Very Obviously safe as well as the dubious ones. This is because, one, sometimes people just want to know what their cat is doing, and two, it gets exhausting for the moderators to sift through potentially abusive and/or staged cat videos every time they open the blog.
