Very funny that the govt is only giving tests to HOUSEHOLDS and not individuals therein
Correction:
to ADDRESSES
Separate apartments in one building count as separate addresses–look up exactly how your address is recorded by the usps. Some people have also worked around that by putting the apt number in the “street address” box instead of the secondary address line. Usps IS sending them to individual apartments, if yours was blocked you can send a service inquiry to emailus(dot)usps(dot)com/s/the-postal-store-inquiry
Relevant addition
Please take this from someone who used the USPS website for six years every day for her job: there’s a distinct chance that at many of you are not writing your address the way it’s recorded by the USPS.
A lot of times they’re able to get your mail to you even when there’s little differences (Road vs Rd, for example) without much problem. But apartments can be a pain in the ass.
Go to USPS.com, and click Send at the top
Then Look Up Zip Code
Then By Address
Don’t put “apartment” or “suite” in the Apt/Suite/Other box. Just the number or letter or combination of numbers and letters for whatever your apartment/suite is.
Then click Find.
(to be clear, this is only to obtain your address as recorded by USPS.com. Still go to the other links to order the COVID tests.)
Go forth and get your tests!
