It turns out flying while Black is an issue, as DC-based music executive Emmit Walker learned just 2 days ago. Thankfully, when a passenger on the same flight as him made racist comments upon seeing him in the ‘priority boarding’ line, he fired back with an absolutely perfect response.(Source)
Idk if the everyone clapped part happened but this sort of thing happened to me from some middle-aged white guy on a flight from CLT to BWI. Saying “Actually we’re group 1,” and turning back around to ignore him was the most satisfying thing.

It’s clunky, but it’s the best thing I can currently think of, when it comes to needing to send out weekly updates and stay up to date with who is and is not a subscriber, so it’s what I’m going with for the time being.
