i tried to make a new character today and before i started, i made a wish upon a shooting star. the wish was “please god let me design a character who doesnt look like a bariyan AU”
anyway heres my new character. his name is “koltira but his eyes are red now”.
Ok, so my thought process after drawing fish monster D.Va was basically ‘I ‘m done much sooner than I thought I’d be, now what? …Screw it, I’m doing Hanzo too.’ Because he’s my favorite and I couldn’t help myself. Anyway, the design comes from @macabrecabra‘s fun Aquawatch AU, I just decorated it a bit. I was going to monster him up a some more cause fuck yeah monsters, but eh all I ended up doing was adding notes of armored catfish and nudibranch colors. And despite fish Hanzo technically being a simpler design than fish D.Va he was somehow much more of a trial to get drawn and colored. @_@
When a member of an oppressed group tells you to stop doing something that triggers them or to not use a slur, they’re not violating your free speech, because they don’t actually have any power to stop you. You won’t be arrested, fined, or penalized in any way if you continue to do the thing that bothers them. They’re simply saying that if you respected them and people like them, you would stop. By continuing, you’re simply stating that you’re willingly choosing to not respect them.

He believed that white moderates were and are the greatest threat to civil rights, moreso than any hate group.

He was considered a dangerous radical by the majority of white Americans.
He refused to condemn rioters, because “a riot is the language of the unheard.”
Any white person who voted for Trump who tries to use MLK or his words as a rhtetorical tactic to justify their bigotry and complain about people protesting can personally come to my apartment in the next 24 hours for an ass-kicking.
Some of y’all following me were literally born in the 2000s (and no this is not going to be one of those awful 90s kids are better rants) but I know from personal experience that as teenagers, you don’t really understand exactly how young you are. Like I literally babysat kids your age. And I want to remind y’all that I am an adult. And there are lots of adults on this website. And if any adult, even an 18 year old, comes on to you or makes you feel uncomfortable in any way, you are 100% within your rights to report it, and please please please don’t let yourself fall for their lines of “oh you’re very mature for your age” or some shit because I promise you that no matter what, to someone my age, you are a CHILD, and they’re preying on you. Your safety is important, so please exercise caution in all your online interactions
Reading the notes on this, the very important point is made: If they were really interested in ~maturity~, they’d be interested in older people.
