Hey, everyone!

I first started taking commission work over a year ago, and I’m endlessly grateful for all the support I’ve been shown over the past year from both my clients and the community. For someone who always struggled to get to 100 followers on places like DeviantArt, this is a huge milestone!

Making a living in the arts has always been my dream. Four years ago, I gave up on that dream when I accepted I could never go to art school. One year ago, in the midst of crisis, I made a Tumblr account and decided to give it one last-ditch effort. And I’m glad I did it. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of you. I’ve improved and grown so much over the past year not only as an artist, but also as a person.

Your positive reactions to my work gave me faith in my art and skillset.

The encouragement of my followers spurred me to branch out, take risks, have confidence– and after walking forth into the unknown, I landed a tattoo apprenticeship. I have a budding career in the arts, just like I’d always dreamed.

I’m so thankful for every like and every reblog. You’ve given me the courage to plow forward and make my own living on my own terms, and I don’t think words can properly express how precious that is to me.
