hey guys billy mays here with the
contract killing!
This is my dream
“I groom you, human”. Dear gods.
Do Hearthstones exist? If so, are there limitations? Does your character have multiple set to bring them to preferred locations? Does your character have only a few mounts they use regularly, or do they have vast stables filled with creatures they’ve collected? When you dismount, where does your mount go?

They do, Tev had one before he died, but it got lost in the shuffle after he was died and raised as a Death Knight. When used in actual plot, death gates seem to be way more flexible than “Opens a gate which the Death Knight can use to return to Ebon Hold.” so I figure that Tev primarily uses those for transportation over long distances, or whenever he needs to make a quick escape.

The only two mounts that Tev has that are canon are his deathcharger, Retribution:
And the Frostwyrm, Kragos:
When you dismount, where does your mount go?
Retribution is more like a summon, when Tev needs to ride him, he’s called from the Shadowlands, and when he’s done with him Tev sends him back there. It’s probably a bit more involved than the 1.5 second cast time that the game has, so Tev will keep him around if he may need him later.
With Kyragos, Tev had to raise him outright as a test of competency (back when he was with the Scourge), and while he’s sworn fealty to Tev, he’s an entity independent of him, and a member of the Ebon Blade in his own right. Kyragos probably just flies off to carry about his own business after he’s done with whatever it is that Tevruden needed.

it’s kinda cool how our generation has created actual tone in the way we write online. like whether we: write properly with perfect grammar, shrthnd everythin, use capitals to emphasise The Point, use extra letters or characters for emotion!!!!!, and much more – it means we can have casual conversations, effectively make jokes using things like sarcasm that’s usually hard to understand without context and much more. this “incorrect English” has really opened avenues of online conversation that isn’t accessible with “correct English” which is pretty interesting
#like see that’s different to saying ’’there are rules” (tags via @soaringsparrows)
My class and I literally taught some of the nuances of this to our english teacher, things such as the difference between “yes” and “yes.” or “..” and “…”. It makes perfect sense linguistically that we would create this complexity to ease communication in a medium without body language and tone, but what my teacher was really floored about was that none of this had ever “learned” it, we’re “native speakers” of a whole new type of english.
What’s Your Excuse?
A list of Wow Headcanons.
What’s the story behind the Garrison for your character? Do they actually have a base in Draenor they command? Do they live there?
If their Garrison exists, are the chosen buildings of in-character significance? Do they have structures there that don’t exist in-game?
How do you handle In-Character chat channels? Is it a location like a guild headquarters, some form of magical communication, or something else?
For raid content, are bosses actually dead for your character once you’ve defeated them?
For horribly neglected cities like Silvermoon or Exodar, does your view of the world have their broken parts repaired? If not, what justification do you have in place for why things are still a wreck all these years later?
If traveling on foot with no magical aid, how long would it take to get from your favorite ‘main city’ (Orgrimmar, Silvermoon, Stormwind, Ironforge, etc) to the nearest town (Razor Hill, Fairbreeze Village, Goldshire, Kharanos, etc)?
Do Hearthstones exist? If so, are there limitations? Does your character have multiple set to bring them to preferred locations?
How do they view portal travel? Would they rather take a stable portal such as those in Pandaria, or a portal made by a mage?
What about Warlock Closets? Would they let a warlock yank them through the Nether?
Does your character have any custom magical items?
How do your characters view the main story events through each expansion? Decisions of the leaders?
Does your character have only a few mounts they use regularly, or do they have vast stables filled with creatures they’ve collected?
When you dismount, where does your mount go?
What vanity pets are companions to your characters? Where were they acquired? Why did your character pick them?
How do your characters feel about Dalaran? If you’re Horde, how do you justify going there in-character after the MoP events that resulted in being banned?
What’s some fact of ancient history that your character has knowledge of? How did they get it? Are they under any incorrect assumptions about historical events?
Do you actually have your in-game professions be in-character? If so, have you added or altered anything thematic for the profession? If not, what do they do for a living or hobbies?
Where does your character get their money from?
Does your character have a ‘bag of holding’, or some sort of enchantment that lets them carry a great deal of stuff?
Have old war zones recovered in your character’s story? For example, is Mt. Hyjal starting to bloom again, with less cultists and elementals? Is Icecrown still swarmed with massive armies of the dead?
What’s your favorite ‘hidden spot’ for RPing in, and why?
What languages does your character speak, read, and/or understand? How did they learn them?
Do you consider your PvP to be in-character? What’s the motivation behind it? Why, in your headcanon, are the older Battlegrounds still in conflict after so long?
Okay, I love these. And I will add one:
What is “wealthy” to your character? How much would they expect to spend on a nice dinner or a room for the night?
Ask me some of these! For anyone here or @kildarren or @khay-solovieva or @amberrage
