I think one of my favorite stories I’ve ever heard Mark Hamill tell is the one about how the first time he heard the score for A New Hope he got sort of jokingly offended because it seemed like every other character had a specific song for them and he didn’t and John Williams just looked at him and said “…The main theme is your song” and Mark was like “WHAT OMG” like he didn’t actually understand before that moment that he was the protagonist.
Media creators: These two character hate each other. They
are in disagreement on almost every fundamental concept, social issue, and political view. If given the
chance they would murder the other person and feel no remorse.
Fandom: Nope, they’re in love. They’re kissing. Now they’re getting married.
You know what’s weird? Coming across this on your dash and going “HAHA, internet!” and then looking down at the caption and realizing that not only have you seen this before, but you reblogged it before and made a super similar comment about it the first time.
I don’t know whether to be disappointed, concerned, or impressed.
