This is the problem with tumblr fandom. There is a difference between criticism and pointing out actual problematic behavior, and what tumblr does. Everything is child porn and racist transphobic fatshaming out of control. Like when someone drew Lana from Archer and used the literal colors from the show, but was deemed racist because Lana wasn’t ‘dark enough’ (as if that ‘criticism’ wasn’t racist itself.)
I am not in SU fandom nor am I familiar with the artist in question, but the fact that the fans are attacking the show creator and calling her a pedophile says a lot about tumblr!fandom. These people are outrageous, unreasonable, and refuse to even consider the idea that they’re wrong or handling the situation the wrong way. The level of harassment in some tumblr tags is out of control. They’re cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and slandering other fans. Its fucked up. This is not how you bring about change, this is how you drive people to suicide.
