today on tumblr: people shocked and enraged that a warcraft product isn’t very feminist

Amid all the progress we’re starting to see from other companies i think fans were holding out hope for Blizzard’s newest production.  Perhaps there is something better in the movie, but what little we’ve seen is not promising and a lot of people are already frustrated.

None of it is really surprising coming from Blizzard.  Some fans were just more optimistic than they should’ve been.  

I just can’t get that upset about like 3rd hand info.

in the warcraft movie i want there to be this big dramatic battle scene, and in the middle there’s just an archer, standing amidst the chaos, firing arrows. and all the soldiers around him are fighting and stumbling and dying and there’s just this close up of the archer’s face, and he’s all calm and focused, just chilling there shooting away, and faintly you just hear the screams of the soldiers around him like "PACK!!!!!!!! ASPECT OF THE PACK!!!!!!!!!! TURN PACK OFF!!!!!! HUNTER!!!!!!“
