Introducing the WoW Token – World of Warcraft
This is how it goes:
- Seller purchases a Token from the Blizzard store, for IRL money.
- Seller receives Token as an in-game item. It can only be listed on the auction house, not traded or given to other players by another method.
- Seller lists the Token on the Auction House for gold, at a time of their choosing. The gold price is determined by the game, based on supply and demand balances, and changes over time. The gold price is not adjustable by the seller.
- Buyer looks on the auction house to see the current price of Tokens, and if they can afford one, can purchase one.
- The Token then becomes soulbound (cannot be traded or resold) and can be redeemed at any time for 30 days’ game time. It does not expire, and cannot be deleted.
Looks good to me!
Please read the whole FAQ on the page before commenting, as a lot of my initial hesitations were addressed.
