These guys improved like hell.
I wonder how much of the game client they used to render this now. Because that looks like it was 100% done with the game and fraps.
im not 100% sure but
with the old way you used to be able to get under naxxrammas you could get up into an area that was HUGE and snowy, and im PRETTY SURE they filmed the trailer here
the whole area is still underneath naxxrammas but you can only get to the bottom eastern plaguelands part (which includes uninstantced strathholme and an old nax model floating above strath)
but the old way would let you get to the snowy part of the under-biome in naxx and it was like a good size of winterspring almost but it had all this weird shit in it :A
You can actually still get in there, with a little trickery!
You have to jam yourself up in the corner of Sapphiron’s room, drink a growth pot, log out and log back in, and then wiggle around a lot.
