i acutely remember reading this one fic where harry goes against dumbledore’s oppressive wishes and preforms a dark magic ritual that turns him into this lovingly described six foot twenty ultra powerful bastion-of-masculinity demon thing who proceeded to run about hogsmeade or wherever the fuck amassing unreasonable amounts of power and money and Having Sex With Every Woman and like half of the comments on this thing were like “um……. the description of harry in this fic sounds a lot like illidan stormrage… was that intentional” and the author of the fic ended up getting really mad about it in the a/n s for one chapter and that was one of the weirdest yet probably most appropriate ways i’ve ever seen two of my interests collide because on one hand what the fuck but on the other hand, if you asked illidan stormrage himself to write a harry potter fanfictions that would probably be the result
