Varaelian has a loving bond with Tevruden. No, not like he’s going to sleep with him. (I know someone out there would have read it as such…) But he sees Tev as that brother he always wanted but never got and then got stuck with an asshole and Vaelios.
If anything ever happened to Tev, he’d probably be very heartbroken. Despite how much these two may fight sometimes or have odd conversations, if there is truly one person in this world he would die for, it would be Tev.
Van’s also not going to sleep with Tev because Tev doesn’t sleep.
