I got a mail thingy asking how I do my DK eyes and to be honest I’m kind of like a blindfolded kid swinging at a pinata across the yard when it comes to coloring but here’s my basic process for it.
I just start out with the flat colors I want and then abuse the crap out of several low-opacity layers for the glow, merge them, repeat, fill in with white in the brightest areas, and then run it through a filter if I need to.
There are probably easier ways of doing this and nobody should take advice from me ever but there you go!
