If you have a moment.
It’s important.
Why, yes, I do have a moment. What do you need, Father?
*Hides his nervousness by holding his cane tightly to keep from fidgeting.*
I have an important job for you. As you know, I’ve been including you more in meetings with nobles and the other Alliance leaders. I feel you are ready to handle a small situation on your own. Consider it a training of sorts.
We need to discuss the management of recourse between Ironforge and Stormwind in this time of war, and I want you to talk to the Dwarven leaders in my stead. I’ll be sending along personal guards and an adviser who can help you if you get truly stuck on what to do. But, I have faith in you.
At the moment, the tram is down, and there was some sort of chaos at the gryphon nests. It’s impossible to get to Ironforge by boat, as you know, so the only way there at the moment is an airship.
Remember, this is but a small taste of the responsibility you’ll soon be taking over. Stand strong, and remember that you represent all of Stormwind.
*Watches Varian intently, having relaxed heavily when he realized he wasn’t in any kind of trouble. However, realization began dawning on his face when Varian spoke of the Deeprun Tram… and the lack of possible boat rides.*
Not that I want to turn down a trip to Ironforge, Father, but are you pushing your duties off on me, because you’re afraid to go by airship?
By the Sunwell you’re a little shit. <3
