I know they’re mostly in there because funny jokes or whatever

But I can’t stop thinking that it’s legitimately a part of their culture. Like, for whatever reason, it’s massively important that their hair look good 100%…

Elfbrows always made me think of the tactile whiskers that rats have on their eyebrows, which help them gauge whether their bodies will fit through the crevices they are investigating.  Come to think of it, belfsies make me think of rats in general.  They are small, whimsical, clever, greedy, and there are too damn many of them!  They also have bright eyes and little grabby hands, like rats

I was thinking something similar the other day: if you poked a blood elf’s eyebrow would they blink (like cats do)?

I once made a joke that the Scourge had to have holes drilled in the Greathelm of the Scourge Champion because even underthe mind control of the the Lich King, blood elves refused to put the helm on because it would muss up their eyebrows.
