Hahah yes.
What’s really bad is that I had known this for years, (it’s like Color Photography 101) but never really applied it to drawing.

all i do is paint shadows with low opacity then smudge the shit out of it like this:
Same. I also finally realized just how much highlights and shadows work together.
I wish I had payed more attention in art class, but eh, drawing really wasn’t my thing back then.
So instead of doing things I played dress up. Now I need to find a good sword/shield combo (the shoulders need to be switched out, but I don’t feel like doing frenzyheart dalies)

Death knights seem to gravitate to either the saronite plate or their starter gear. They’re nice sets, but I’m one of those people who goes out of their way to be ‘unique’ (or at least less common) in transmogs, so it drives me batty. But you know what they say about opinions ^^
