GW2 – GWI uncovers some interesting Weapon models
The above are images of weapons that the folks over at GWI managed to retrieve. The top set is apparently already in game, with speculation pointing to the “Peacemaker” weapons set which have seem to have a very strong Asura influence in their aesthetics – The sword from that set looks particularly familiar to me, as I vaguely remember trying to get a screenshot of a player with it in the PvP lobby.
The weapons themselves according to the GWI post are of a Flamethrower, Rifle, Greatsword and Longbow.
The bottom set unlike the top set has not been seen in game. The looks of the weapons in this set revolve around plant life and fauna which would lead me to believe they have a connection with the Sylvari somehow, though it may just be aesthetically.
Do keep in mind all these images are in lower resolution, and without in game animations and effects. Also don’t forget to check out the original GWI posts here for the Asura Weapons, and here for the Sylvari weapons.
